Fashion editors, Hollywood stars, and Instagram influencers alike are all in agreement this spring: lavender is the must-wear color of the season. The light, fresh tone is a great replacement for the millennial pink fad, which is finally dying off after a good run. While millennial pink seemed to be on trend for years, I’m not sure lavender has the same staying power. I have a hard time seeing many people wearing such a spring-like shade come November. That being said, I still think this a trend worth trying, especially because it would add a nice pop of color as an accessory when you feel like your outfit is missing that certain something.
I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite items that will help you ease into the trend without any major commitment. And the best part is they’re all under $75!
Everlane t-shirts are cult favorites for a good reason. The cut is so stylish for the weekend and looks great with high-waist jeans. The light shade of lavender is perfect if you want something subtle.
For those who don’t want to spend more than $10 bucks on trendy items, this one is for you. Wear it in your hair for a perfect bit of color.
Square necklines are another trend this spring, but the simplicity of this shirt doesn’t make it seem that trendy. The elbow-length sleeves are just the right length for spring days and work well for the office.
I love wearing baseball caps when I’m running errands on the weekends, and they have become an easy way for me to wear colors I don’t feel comfortable in or believe are too trendy for an expensive investment. As a bonus, it will offer extra protection as the sun’s rays begin to grow stronger.
The vintage style of this bikini is too cute I want to buy it in multiple colors! It would be perfect for the beach or pool, and the matching bottoms are only $48.
